On Saturday, August 18, the Dominican Republic team played the RI Rays AAU Baseball Club at McCarthy Field in West Warwick, RI. Both teams on Saturday consisted of players 15-16 years of age. The RI Rays prevailed in the nine inning contest, but both teams displayed a high quality level of baseball. The RI Rays provided the high quality competition for which our friends from the Dominican Republic visited the United States. The RI Rays provided a cookout for both teams following the game as well.

We look forward to welcoming the Dominican Republic back to Rhode Island in 2019. Safe travels guys.
